IDEAS TO KEEP EXPLORING
A small number
of voices can open a door
An idea does not need majority support to deserve a careful follow-up.
A neighborhood cooling network. One written response proposed using churches as free public resources during heat. This is an individual proposal, not an established network or a commitment from any institution.
Solar and cooling costs. One participant proposed solar power in the closing discussion so households could use AC. The underlying issue is affordable cooling; the session cannot establish the best technology or its economics.
Heat during a power outage. A participant raised concern about refrigeration, food, and refrigerated medication. This was a limited but consequential concern, not a measured pattern of local outages.
How to use these ideas
Clarify the need, check feasibility with appropriate partners, and seek contrasting experiences before broadening the claim.
